Great point, too, about when we fall more in love with Jesus we'll love more things of Him!jamie bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15702643807827552444noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10531076.post-90426584558536341012007-08-11T15:55:00.000-04:002007-08-11T15:55:00.000-04:00this is the same topic i was reading about yesterd...this is the same topic i was reading about yesterday - i am reading "blue like jazz" (GREAT book - I love his honesty) and he was talking about how we as sinners love everything that is not of God - we can't help it. we can't DO anything to make ourselves not that way. we can't try our best to please God and live holy. the only way to get past all the things of this world that we love is to fall in love with Jesus. and through his love, we start loving all the things of Jesus. but we can't try to do it without him. how funny that I have spent so many years in the past trying to live the "christian life" and ignored the only means by which I CAN live the life - through falling in love with Jesus more and more every day and allowing him to strengthen me every day so He can live through me. THanks for the post! :)Stephaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12752578702140231843noreply@blogger.com
