I know...it's a song, but that's what comes to my mind when I see him like this! He LOVES to be outside and when he can't be he stands (or sits) at the door! Kinda like a puppy dog! :) He does a lot of things like a puppy dog actually! HA!

Allison's 1st Birthday Party

Allison Drew turns 1 this Friday, the 29th! That is so hard to believe! ML and Nate had her party today at the Riverquarium, here in Albany. We all toured the place and then watched Allison dig in to her yummy cake! :) She was precious rubbing her fingers in the icing. She finally learned to pick it up and squish it between her fingers.

In a little less than 2 months we'll be doing this with Bryan! My, how time flies!

Here's Bryan thoroughly enjoying the swimming pool his Sug got him today. I blew it up and we let him play out on the porch. Good fun!

Lyndi caught the biggest fish! This is a 25inch Red Drum fish and it sure was good for supper last night!


Bryan is still enjoying the beach and water. It rained most of the day Tuesday so none of us were out on the beach. Last night (Wednesday) was overcast and perfect for playing at the beach. We both had sand ALL over us!

St. George Island Day 2

Bryan LOVES the ocean! He got in the water for a while today and loved it. We bought him a cute little crab float (hopefully I'll get a pic of that soon) that has a hood over it. He floated in the waves for a long time and laughed when the water hit his face.

Bryan has learned to climb the stairs at our beach house this week! He actually just took off like he had climbed stairs his whole 9 months of life! :)

This is how a baby looks after a full day at the beach! He wasn't actually down at the beach for long, but it sure wore him out!

Greetings from the Beach!!!

We're just settling down now for our first night at St. George Island in Florida. We've had a LONG day! We went to see Wes Shiver and Sarah Salter get married this morning at 11, and then it was pack, travel, arrive, unload, and introduce the little boy to some sand,
and some water!

Updates

I thought I'd give everyone an update on the family. We are all doing great. Matt is still working his computer magic at the hospital. I am home with Bryan-- and Allison 2 mornings a week. Bryan is cruising the furniture, sitting down after pulling up, cutting 4 top teeth at the same time, trying to figure out crawling on his knees, sleeping a good 8 hours at night (Hallelujah!) and just being as cute as can be!

We are leaving for a week long vacation to the beach on Saturday. It's going to be wonderful!!! I can't wait to see how Bryan responds to the sand, ocean, birds, etc. Of course there will be LOTS of pictures when we get back. We may even have the internet while we're there.

We have a new camera!!! We just got it in the mail today and are excited to see how this thing works. We've been using a Kodak Easy Share digital for a few years and decided to upgrade since are now taking so many pictures. Here's what we got from Newegg.

Chattanooga Trip

Last weekend we went to Chattanooga for Ross' graduation. We didn't actually go to his ceremony because we didn't think 2 babies would do very well trying to sit still for a couple of hours! :) So, while Ross was graduating we visited the Chattanooga Aquarium. Bryan and Allison (and the rest of us) really enjoyed seeing all the fish, turtles, sharks, penguins, etc. Bryan tried to reach out and grab the fish through the glass. It was priceless.

Anyway, Ross' graduation party was at Pa's house. We got to visit with lots of family that we haven't seen in quite some time. It was great to see everyone. I wish we could have stayed longer!!

Oh, and Bryan did WONDERFUL in the car for 5 hours! He's a trooper, that's for sure!

Happy Birthday Adele!

This is my sweet cousin Adele. She is 3 years old today and what a blessing she is! Adele has Charge Syndrome and is truly a miracle child. We love you!
