mommy or sheep?

When we color, Bryan likes for us to draw the shapes he knows. We let him tell us what to draw. He knows lots of shapes...circle, square, triangle, rectangle, star, heart, diamond, etc. Usually he'll ask us to draw a face in the circle. So yesterday he said, "two eyes" so i drew two eyes. He asked for a chin so I colored a little bit on the chin. When I was finished I asked him who it was. He said, "sheep!" Then he said, "no, mommy." :) Glad to know I look like a sheep.

"Down Up" if he wants up or down from something. This started because he kept saying "down" when he really wanted "up." So now he just says both.

"Craynuns" for Crayons

One of his favorite things to listen to right now is "All I Wanna Do" by Sugarland. He'll ask for "more ooo ooo" over and over. He also LOVES tobyMac. He calls him "T Mac." So precious!

Bryan's Learning

Phenix City Visit

Bryan and I went to Phenix City on Thursday because construction was starting in our laundry room on Friday. I didn't want either of us to be in the house where mold was flying, but we ended up with colds anyway!



The weather has been kinda nice the last couple of days so I took Bryan outside to walk in the grass. (He's trying to walk more and more daily!) He took about 2 steps and sat down. After he touched the grass he decided he didn't want to touch it at all! Mom took this picture and I'm so glad she did because it was too hilarious to not have on camera!

Guess what Bryan did today?!

Well, let me start by saying he LOVES playing with the books in his room. He can sit on the floor for 15 to 20 minutes by himself which is wonderful for me so I can get something done. Well, this morning I left him to check my email. After a few minutes I heard him grunting like he does when he's stuck or wants something he can't get to. After I walked to his room I was looking in the direction of the bookshelf thinking he would be on the floor, but NO! He was SITTING IN THE GLIDER! I WISH I would have had a camera with me. He pulled the bottom cushion off so he could climb on it to get in the rocker. He is definitely a monkey!

It was really really cute and funny! He still hasn't mastered how to get off of the furniture. We need to work a little harder with him on that! :)

Laughing at Simba

Bryan has been loving Simba for a while now, but last night he started laughing at her. I was sitting on the floor with him and she was up in her chair. Next thing I knew Bryan spotted her and started cracking up! I mean a full belly laugh! He did it several times. This is him laughing at her again this morning. :)

One Cramped Fish

So here's our betta fish, Theta. Yes, that's a flower vase that he's in, and it's totally my fault. He had a nice, big fishbowl to swim around in, and I broke it tonight while cleaning it out. I was washing it out on the inside and trying to rotate it around with soapy hands, and it slipped and hit the side of the sink, and proceeded to shatter all over the place. I'm not sure how I managed to keep from getting cut, but I didn't. Theta is happily swimming around in clean water, there's just not much room to maneuver now! :)
